Waste stream

While operating with a zero waste product manufacturing model, some wastes are unavoidable.  The primary wastes produced are corrugated packaging and steel drums.

All corrugated is flattened and recycled by our waste management contractor, as well as office papers and commingled recyclables.  Steel drums are shipped to a drum recycler where they are washed and refurbished, giving them a second life.  Fluorescent bulbs and ballasts are recycled to avoid allowing these contaminants into the general waste stream.
